Chloe Vichot drew from her Paris childhood and French home cooking for her casual new restaurant in New York’s Greenwich Village, with dishes that come in custom-made reusable glass jars. Ancolie’s diners are encouraged to slow down and savor the beautifully prepared meals, such as The Ancolie Jar, layered with walnuts or chicken, goat cheese, shallots, carrots, greens, and black sesame seeds with miso dressing, and a decadent chocolate cake made from a recipe passed down through three generations. Everything is made in-house from sustainable, well-sourced ingredients, and the glassware is an elegant way to showcase the menu’s vibrant fruits and vegetables. It is the perfect solution for grabbing a healthy lunch in an eco-friendly way.
