When my grandmother launched Estée Lauder’s gift with purchase program in 1959, she knew that women would be excited. Everyone loves receiving gifts, but I think wrapping a present beautifully adds an extra-special touch. With the right materials, it doesn’t take long. This year I’m looking to Florence for inspiration and wrapping presents with red and green marbleized paper (Paper Mojo). I also think an elegant gift tag is a quick and simple way to add a beautiful touch and personal message. I love The Printery’s red gift cards edged in gold, with five different motifs in cream, tied with a two-toned gold and cream satin ribbon (we sell them in my Southampton store). Other favorites include Mrs. John L Strong’s gold embossed tags tied with a selection of vibrant satin ribbons, and Tusche’s Rudolph Tags, a sweet addition to a child’s gift.
