I love traveling to Paris, and this summer I hope to visit one of its best-known hotels. Following a near four-year renovation (and an unexpected delay after a fire this winter), the storied Ritz-Paris reopened this month. The update includes restored rooms, new prestige suites (named after famous patrons like F. Scott Fitzgerald and Maria Callas), a new bar, and Chanel au Ritz Paris, the world’s first-ever Chanel spa. With seven treatment rooms and exclusive beauty products from Chanel, the spa is worth a visit on its own measure. Coco Chanel, another famous patron, lived in a suite at the Ritz for 34 years, so it’s the perfect pairing. I’m also excited to explore the hotel’s grand new garden, designed in shades of green and cream. Hanging ivy, white roses, and two dozen linden trees decorate the outdoor space; a beautiful escape in the city.
