After all the rich foods associated with the holidays, there’s nothing quite like the simplicity of a perfect pizza in laidback surroundings. We’re planning a visit to Roberta’s in Brooklyn where the delicious pies that emerge from the wood-burning oven includes the popular Bee Sting (tomato, mozzarella, sopressata, chili, honey) and The Sounds & The Fiore (mozzarella, fiore sardo, squash, Calabrian chili, onion, garlic and sage). It’s a fun atmosphere in this repurposed former garage strewn with fairy lights and lined with communal wooden tables and benches. The perfect place for a friendly family meal on a cold January evening.
