Packing for a Summer Weekend in Aspen

I love spending time in the mountains, especially in the late summer when Colorado’s expansive blue skies and lush green mountains are even more beautiful. Here are my essentials for spending a few blissful August days in Aspen.

My Étoile Isabel Marant Guan Blouse is incredibly versatile. I wear it with shorts during the day, or as an extra layer on cool nights.

No matter where I am travelling, I always have at least two white t-shirts with me. J. Crew makes my favorites. Their vintage cotton tee is the perfect weight and cut.

J. Crew’s chino shorts are a summer staple. I wear them everywhere from hiking to whitewater rafting.

A great pair of jeans is essential. I love the chic cut of The Skinny Jean by Rag & Bone. The deep wine hue is unique but still neutral.

My Rayford shades from Oliver Peoples are a sophisticated take on sporty aviator glasses

Lara Manni woven leather espadrilles are so comfortable and cool. They look great with cargo pants, shorts, and jeans.

A great cowboy hat is hard to resist.

In case there is a last-minute dinner party, my Aurelie Bidermann Mendoza gold and enamel bracelet instantly dresses up any outfit.

T. Anthony makes the best luggage. Their leather trimmed, canvas suitcases last forever, come in beautiful colors, and are the perfect size to carry on a flight.

My Navajo inspired, draped cardigan from Haute Hippie is the best layering piece for Aspen’s crisp summer nights.
