Springtime in Paris

A timeless hotel, incredible food, and shopping you can’t do anywhere else.
My good friend, Sarah Fiszel, recently visited Paris and below are some of her picks for the perfect weekend.

 Plaza Athénée

With its signature red awnings, ivy-covered exterior, and Art Deco or Louis XVI-style rooms, this c. 1911 hotel oozes French glamour and style.
An enviable Right Bank location provides guests with Eiffel Tower views and proximity to the best shopping.

For lunch Caviar Kaspia is the place to go for champagne, caviar and blinis, and the most heavenly chocolate cake.
L’Avenue is a chic and modern French bistro done by the Costes brothers where you can enjoy a French staple like a perfect roasted duck.
For dinner, I love the classics, Voltaire is right on the Seine, and L’Ami Louis with only 12 tables is one of the most delicious restaurants not only in Paris, but anywhere.

 Pompidou Centre

Through July 3rd, the museum is launching the first major retrospective of American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.

Tucked inside the Dior store on Avenue Montaigne, you will find the Dior Home line that is only available in Paris.
Sabbia Rosa is a tiny boutique in Saint-Germain-des-Prés that sells the prettiest lingerie.
Muriel Grateau has the coolest tableware and linens in over 100 beautiful hues.
Zef offers fantastic clothes for infants to 12-year-olds.
